DESCRIPTION

Vintage pot metal painted medieval figural candlestick. Designed in the guise of a medieval nobleman holding aloft two tankards of ale or beer. His merry disposition is enhanced by his brightly colored clothing and hearty stance. He stands on a checkered floor plinth which he is attached to via two nuts and the two tankards would accommodate 2 candles. He is heavy and sturdy as well as a functional decorative sculpture.

As they are unmarked it is difficult to date them or but they are most likely European in origin.

A fabulous addition to your vintage rustic home decor or retro bar area.

MEASUREMENTS

Statue measures 16.75" tall by 11" wide by 5.5"deep and weighs 6lb 11oz.

CONDITION

This statue is in good condition with some small signs of use commensurate with age. The paint has chipped off in may areas particularly the pink paint on his face and neck (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
