Vintage Signed Gordon Grant (1875-1962) Namesake Lithograph Sailing Boat Nancy
DESCRIPTION
Vintage original lithograph by Gordon Grant (1875-1962). Titled " Namesake" this original lithograph depicts a father (presumably) showing his daughter her gift of a small sailing boat which has been christened with her namesake "Nancy" which he has just finished painting. Signed and titled on the etching in pencil by the artist this piece was specifically commissioned by the St Paul Western Insurance companies and awarded to one of their employees W H H Pilcher for outstanding accomplishments. This dates to just before he died as attested by the biography on the back.
The lithograph is glued to the matting board and cannot be removed.

CONDITION
This print itself is in nice condition. The matting board shows signs of water damage at the bottom of the frame (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
