Vintage 1977 Star Wars Darth Vader costume mask. This original two piece helmet with its mesh mouth and slightly longer helmet inscribed 20th century etc was produced in 1977 only. From 1978 onwards all the later similar Vader masks have plastic diamond holed mouth and 20th century embossed lettering inside the helmet. This item was acquired from an estate where some of the family were involved in the movie industry.
