Vintage original oil on canvas painting by renowned Menorcan artist Sansuguet (1909-2010). Signed and dated on the bottom left this impressionistic style oil painting depicts the inside of a bar scene at night. The heavy application of paint with a primarily earth tone palette is subtly enlivened with flourishes of bright color throughout to intimate light and warmth. Typical of the European mid 1960's art scene this would suit any mid century or rustic type property.

Francisco Sans Huguet (1909-2010) was a painter from Alaior also known as Sansuguet . He was a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Historical Sciences of Toledo, he was one of the most renowned Menorcan artists of his generation with a career that has led him to exhibit in cities such as Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Oviedo and Toledo.
