Antique Italian Sculpture Palomella Wood Cased Artwork Lady Mandolin 19th C
DESCRIPTION
Antique terracotta sculpture of a lady playing a mandolin dating to the late 19th C. Titled "Palomella" this beautiful sculpture is encased in a wooden frame with an arch. The figure playing the mandolin is looking up to the right as if serenading someone upon a balcony. The forlorn look upon their face suggests vulnerability and hope. The back is sealed with a wood panel held in place with brass screws.

This would make a great addition to any small art collection.
